MN ASIS: April Chapter Meeting April 8, 2010

Robert Dennistoun will speak on Crime Stoppers of Minnesota

Robert Dennistoun of Crime Stoppers of Minnesota will be our featured speaker for the April Chapter Meeting. Robert serves as the Executive Director of Crime Stoppers of Minnesota. He is an employee of Hannon Security Services, Inc., a Bloomington based regional security company, on loan to the non-profit Crime Stoppers of Minnesota. Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is designed to collect information anonymously about crime, and give that information to law enforcement to investigate. His role as Executive Director is to build awareness in the public about Crime Stoppers, coordinate with law enforcement tip information that is collected, and to raise funds for operations and to pay rewards. He is well known to the Minnesota ASIS chapter as he has served on the Board and as Chapter President. He came to Crime Stoppers with 20 years experience in the private security industry managing a $12million operation of 450 employees, and before that worked in the computer and communications industries.
